On September 25, 2012, Natalie Gibbs Croy, a frequent PAAS Facebook follower and net worker saw four, sweet Boxer-mix puppies on the euthanasia list scheduled to be put down that day because they were afraid. These poor babies were dumped at the shelter, of course they were afraid. Natalie already had her own dogs, one named Angie which she had previously rescued from the shelter, and several other foster animals at her home, but she could not let these Boxer puppies die.
“With the help of some amazing people we were able to save these four angels. They are the sweetest, most gentle and affectionate dogs you will ever meet. We are still working through their fear issues, but they are well on their way to being ready for their forever homes”, Natalie said.” I want to thank all who donated for these babies and all of the animals who have and will be helped by donations made to Sponsor Adoptions. The donations arrived to my vet within five days of adopting them. They had URI’s (Upper Respiratory Infections) and the donations paid for the majority of three weeks of Doxycycline and cough tablets. I could not have saved them without the generous donations of everyone who stepped up to help.”
These four pups get along amazingly well with Natalie’s other dogs and they hang out in their big backyard during the day, playing and lounging around. In the evening they come in the house for family time, watch tv, chew on rawhide and sleep on the couch at night.
