Willow
Willow was adopted from the Arlington Animal shelter in September 2013 after being returned by a previous adopter for ‘unrealistic expectations’. However, her new owner knew that it would take time to help Willow adjust and some training to be done for this playful dog. Little Willow is very active and jumped off of a table and broke her femur. Her owner contacted Sponsor Adoptions because she had already spent what she could on X-rays for her and had no money left over for the actual surgery. Her owner lives on social security and lives with her sons due to health issues preventing her from work. We were able to fundraise for Willow and her owner and her surgery was able to be done. Your donations allowed Willow to not be euthanized due to a treatable broken leg procedure. She is healing and back to her vibrant, happy self. Her owner wanted to share her gratitude, “Thank you so much to everyone who donated, reposted and remembered her in your thoughts and prayers. God bless you
Moony
Moony, formerly Fisher, was rescued by Cody’s Friends Rescue from the Arlington shelter. He was very urgent because he had heartworms. Sponsor Adoptions was able to sponsor his heartworm treatment allowing him to be saved from the shelter. Moony found his forever home shortly after. His family says, “Moony is perfect for our family and we are excited to make memories and have adventures together. We’re not sure what his life was like before us, but we feel very lucky to have found him and he is dear to our hearts already.”
