Sponsor Adoptions, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to reduce euthanasia rates in area shelters through the use of social media, marketing and financial support.
Every day, countless animals arrive at area shelters. Many are strays who have never had the opportunity to give unconditional love to a family while others are surrendered from homes due to financial hardships, housing issues, or abuse and neglect. City and community funded animal shelters are often at maximum capacity and, due to space restrictions, are forced to give animals a time limit of just a few days. If a particular pet is not adopted or rescued in that time period, the shelter may have no choice but to
euthanize the animal to make room for another unfortunate pet.
The majority of animal shelters have historically done a good job of getting animals off the streets, taking care of them while in their custody and processing adoptions as they occur. However many shelters are understaffed, underpaid and over-worked. Under their current business models many such shelters do not have the funds or time to take advantage of social media and other internet marketing strategies to tell the public about the many wonderful animals waiting for homes! We believe that much can be done to re-home these shelter pets.
Sponsor Adoptions works specifically on three fronts to ensure that the animals in area shelters have the best chance to live out their lives in a happy home:
With your help and generosity, struggling families can keep their pets and more shelter pets can be placed in permanent loving homes!
Sponsor Adoptions is a non profit organization and your donations are tax deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Unused contributions will not be refunded and will instead be used to provide medical and/or other types of assistance.
